The Best BBQ Sauce
The title of best BBQ sauce is something that battles are waged over every year in the form of competitions in the BBQ pits across the country. Depending on which part of the country you hale from your best BBQ sauce might be yellow, red, brown and in one instance even white.
We in America have been trying to perfect a best BBQ sauce since the country was first settled and even though barbeque sauces weren’t invented here, we definitely go out of our way to turn it into an art form. Every year people gather at local and national barbeque competitions in order to judge which cook has the best BBQ and as an extension of that the best barbecue sauce. These Q’ers all have there own secret recipe sauce that they keep under lock and key in order to preserve any edge the cook and his or her team may have.
So you can see that the title of Best BBQ Sauce can be a very regional thing. It can all depend on whether you’re from South Carolina with their mustard bbq sauce, from North Carolina and Kansas City with tomato based sauces or from Texas with their bold and spicy sauces. In all likelihood it will all boil down to what you are used to. Oh and that white BBQ sauce I mentioned earlier, that one was created by Big Bob Gibson of Decatur, Alabama and while minor in its influence it has become popular enough to be copied, so you might be seeing more of it in the future.
